Summer Choir Camp Registration

Heartland Youth Choir offers two options for summer choir camp.

(Grades listed refer to singer’s standing in spring 2024.)

SummerTunes - Singers grades K - 3. - 9:30am-11:00 am Daily

$150 total - includes snacks, music, camp t-shirt.

Enjoy 5 mornings of singing, games and movement!

SummerSongs -Singers grades 4th - 8th - 8:15am-5:30pm Daily

$375 total - includes snacks, music, camp t-shirt, and admission/transportation to 4 afternoon excursions around the Des Moines area.

Enjoy 5 days of singing, music literacy, movement, sectional rehearsals, games, and a musical theatre medley to perform.

Singers from both camps will have a musical performance of all they’ve learned at the end of the week.

In 2024, camp will be held July 29 - August 2 at Windsor Heights Lutheran Church in Windsor Heights.

Photo Release

I, the undersigned, do hereby consent and agree that Heartland Youth Choir, its employees, or agents have the right to take photographs, videotape, or digital recordings of my child and to use these in any and all media, now or hereafter known, and exclusively for the purpose of Heartland Youth Choir promotions. I further consent that my name and identity may be revealed therein or by descriptive text or commentary. I do hereby release to Heartland Youth Choir, its agents, and employees all rights to exhibit this work in print and electronic form publicly or privately and to market and sell copies. I waive any rights, claims, or interest I may have to control the use of my identity or likeness in whatever media used. I understand that there will be no financial or other remuneration for recording me, either for initial or subsequent transmission or playback. I represent that I am at least 18 years of age, have read and understand the foregoing statement, and am competent to execute this agreement for the minor child.

Emergency Services Release

I hereby give my permission for HYC to obtain emergency services at the nearest hospital in case the above-named singer suffers illness or accident and I, the guardian, cannot be contacted. I further agree to pay all emergency fees and all medical or dental expenses incurred if I cannot be located. If I cannot be contacted, I authorize HYC officials to take whatever action is deemed necessary.

Summer Camps Registration Fee

$50.00

$50 is due at the time of registration for our summer choir camps: SummerTunes and SummerSongs. This is a non-refundable deposit.
